Seminary Accreditations, Affiliations & Authorizations

Grace Theological Seminary is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and the Commission on Accrediting of the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. The following degree programs are approved:

• M.A. in Intercultural Studies (Residential)
• M.A. in Local Church Ministry (Residential & Deploy)
• M.A.M.S. (HLC Only)
• D.Min. (One-Week Residential Modules)
• D.Ics. (One-Week Residential Modules)

In February 2017, the ATS Board of Commissioners approved a five-year experiment for the MDiv and MA in Local Church Leadership programs, permitting a non-residential, competency-based model of theological education that is an exception to the degree program standards for residency in professional degrees.
